All people are welcome at Poo-Ha-Bah!

Guidelines for All Visitors     Volunteer Workers
Larger Groups

We really hope to see you at Poo-Ha-bah. However, whether coming for healing or as a volunteer, please contact us before hand rather than visiting unannounced. Please fill out and mail or fax our confidential Personal Information Form before arrival. Our Visiting Poo-Ha-Bah Brochure and  Moon Time Guidelines for women are  a must in planning your stay.

Poo-Ha-Bah is a healing and prayer center, not a resort or retreat. Following the tradition of all the Native doctors in his family, Corbin does not charge for his doctoring or for the use of the hot water. However, we must all be sure that Corbin and Poo-Ha-Bah can continue in a good way. These days, ponies need gas, not grass, and all donations of food, goods or funds are always very welcome.

Guidelines:  To maintain good community spirit and a healing environment, we ask that you use the following guidelines during your stay.  (Print complete Brochure)

Volunteers: Please visit and share your skills!
Learn about Western Shoshone culture and spirituality in a community atmosphere. Help make Poo-Ha-Bah a more comfortable and functional place for Corbin and his patients. Because we are a non-profit organization, we rely very much on the help of volunteers. In addition to daily operations, we are still renovating. We usually work in the morning, after Sunrise Ceremony and breakfast. the rest of the day is yours to explore the land, library, and visit with others.
See PDF  Visiting Guidelines Brochure, Moon Time Guidelines. and complete Volunteer Training Manual.
